This plain-jane home with dark, chunky details needed an infusion of style and originality. We stripped down the once brown tile-clad fireplace to a more minimal design featuring a reclaimed wood mantle. Newly reupholstered vintage family heirloom furniture takes center stage along with a three-dimensional feature wall in the dining room. We added custom casework and under-mount lighting to highlight cool collectibles. Heavy wood and multi-colored walls were painted all white with touches of wallpaper and stunning lighting throughout. The custom floor-to-ceiling stainless steel railing, equal parts functional and sculptural, makes a statement as the first thing you see when you walk in the door.
