Vanillawood’s design for WeVillage - a drop off daycare/preschool facility - included custom-built structures with peek-a-boo reading nooks and plenty of space for imaginative play. The design included creating a cafe that was mess proof/child safe. We canvassed it in red to inspire playful energy - brightening it up with custom designed lighting. Throughout the space, we incorporated one of our favorite elements, reclaimed wood, adding it to the front reception desk and as an accent to a hot pink abstract wall divider. To complete the look, we had a local Portland Artist paint graffiti on the walls of the game room.
