We took this mid-century modern home with good bones and elevated its style to match a well-traveled, sophisticated international family. The biggest game changer was popping out the entrance of the house from a cramped space to a light-filled contemporary addition that feels like it was always there. This gave the homeowners a much needed front closet and a place to welcome guests in a true “entry.” We also connected a storage space to the main house to create a spacious barn-wood clad office space. Adding walls of floating shelves in the living room allowed the clients to showcase their vast collection of books.
