We transformed this basic ranch house with lots of small, closed off rooms into a fresh, open-plan space perfect for a young family. Along with tearing down walls, we used a mix of modern materials – from concrete to reclaimed shipping dunnage – to create a truly unique living space. Customized details include a media cabinet and shelving accented with automotive paint finish and a supersized fireplace.
